KIWI SOLDIERS BRING WATER TO 200,000 IN IRAQ

The opening of the reverse osmosis plant in the village of Al
Tannumah in Southern Iraq is celebrated by NZ Army Engineer, Lieutenant Andy
Mercer (from New Plymouth), second left, and Sir Hilary Synnott, the Coalition
Provisional Authority Regional Coordinator for Southern Iraq, by drinking
water from the Shat al Arab river that has been processed through the plant.
